Im in the market for some new arrows. The easton axis shafts really cought my eye.I was told by a quite a few people that the shafts start off great but they start loosing there straightness and spine deteriation. Are these shafts as good as the ads say or are we being had.I was also looking into the gold tip line and the pros and xt look real nice.Any comments would be greatly appreciated :-)

From what has been wrtitten about them all over the net, they are neck to neck with the NAP Quickspin vanes to finish as the big archery flop of 2004.

I have a doz. axis arrows and haven't had any major problems.......... yet but I've only had em for a week. The only issue I had with them is that some of the factory fletchings fell off but the pro shop is taking care of that for me. I should have known better and just fletched myself in the first place.

I have been useing them for two mths.. now,NO problums.I shoot about 50-60 arrows a day, every day and cant say anything bad about them. They sure take a beating....!!.I think that the stories about them were started buy the compoticion?.They shoot great,a little heavy, but for moose and other big game they should be ideal. For deer they are tops, low poundage bows can use them for the added penetration.Im no expert, but they have my vote.My wife drew a moose permit thats why i started out trying them, ill be useing them, great arrows.pan.
