Howdy All,

I have a small problem setting up a wisker bisket arrow rest. I used it last year during hunting season and it worked great, now I want to use it again and have a problem. I set the wisker bisket vertically to the bow and set my string nock 3/16" high. It shoots high and I can't set my sight pins any higher to compensate. I've reached the bottom of the adjustment. I raised my string nock a bit and found that the arrow hits the target in an upward angle, so thats no good. Is there a way to raise the wisker bisket? I can then bring my string nock up enough to use the pins on my trophy ridge sight. Any help would be appricated.

Thanks,
Sledder

Your nock point should be parallel to the rest. With the Whisker Biscuit and the Whisper Disk your nock point should not be higher than the hole.

That's your problem.....make it paralell and you're good to go.

Scott's right on, sledder. I shoot a Whisker Biscuit, too. Your nock point needs to be at zero, exactly parallel to the hole in the biscuit.Bring your nock point back down and you should be fine.

Hey Warden, As far as the size of the hole in the bisket goes. Is there somewhere to se which one to use for what? If I have a carbon bisket in, can I shoot arrows with 5/16" dia? Or do I have to go to the larger holed bisket? In Wholesale sports they give two options .32" &.36". More clearance the better?

Small holes are for carbon and the big ones are for aluminum.

Whups...I missed this one...Sorry Jethro...Pete is correct.

Small is for carbon and large is for aluminum.

thanks guys. what happens if you shoot a fatter aluminum(2314)through the carbon bisket? hopefully i got the arrow number right. does the accuracy go to hell, or do i end up ruining the arrow or bisket in some way? I am having trouble with my grouping. thought i might try another type of arrow. i am not saying that it isn't me. probably is!!!!
