Ok everyone. We are in need of a facelift on the site here. We are going to be revamping the whole site and we need a new logo.

So, here's the scoop on the contest.

We need graphics people (and I know there's a ton of you out there that bow hunt) to come up with a new logo for Bowzone.ca.

We are going to need to get the entries in by the 25th of July so that's when this contest ends. (it's the same day that the Leupold Optics Contest Ends).

All Logo's must be in digital format. Please attach the logo design in either Corel 10, Adobe Illustrator 9, EPS, JPG or TIFF format and e-mail your entry to info@bowzone.ca. Please include your real name, phone number and bowzone.ca member name (the name you use to log into the site) in the e-mail so we can contact you if you are the winner.

If your logo is chosen by bowzone.ca, you win this: Bow Guard Deluxe Double Bow Case by Doskosil Manufacturing Company (nothing inside...just the case  )

As I got more involved in the archery scene, the more I found myself packing a couple of bows here and there. Carrying two bow cases was always a royal pain. Then the Bow Guard Deluxe Double Bow Case by Doskosil Manufacturing Company appeared in my life, making travelling with two bows downright simple.

The Bow Guard Deluxe Double Bow Case is a molded plastic hard shell case unlike any other plastic bow cases. There are several features built into the Deluxe Double Bow Case that put it on a higher level than other comparable bow cases.

At the heart of the Deluxe Double Bow Case is the extra thick wall sections and extra thick foam that provide the most discriminating bow owner some peace of mind that their bows are secure and extremely well protected. The case has an aluminium valance and a continuous piano hinge that contribute greatly to the overall strength and security of the case. Finally, this case has a molded rib that protects the aluminium valance, the integral latch/locks and the handle.

The interior of the Bow Guard Deluxe Double Bow Case is no slouch either with interior dimensions of 49 1/8 inches x 17 ¼ inches x 6 ¼ inches. Arrows are held in the case with the unique “z-loc” foam system design which holds arrows much better than other systems. Bows are held in with quick release nylon buckles which are a lot more durable than Velcro strap systems.

The Bow Guard Deluxe Double Bow Case is an exceptionally well thought out and well crafted case. The only drawback I found is that with two bows in the case it is a tight fit, but with all of the other great features of this case, it can be overlooked.

If you are in the market for a double bow case, have a look at the Bow Guard Deluxe Double Bow Case by Doskosil Manufacturing Company. It is a well built case that will last you for many years to come.

Let's see what you all can come up with!

LOL! There may be some extra goodies in there. We will have to see. But as it sits right now, there is just the case. It's a great case and will hold 2 bows.

I hope everyone knows that if you are using photographs Graphics in your design that you need to own the rights to the photograph of Graphic. Taking a photograph or even a graphic and using it with out permission is an copyright violation and a serious crime. don't just take a picture off the web because you like it and want to us it. It could end up costing you alot of money. :!:

Just a hint for all you artistic folks. Something I would really like to see on the logos is Your Canadian Archery Source, or something similar instead of bow hunting.

Hey guys...We are so busy over here, we are not going to have a chance to get the logo chosen until after the long weekend so we have extended the logo contest till the first weekend of August. You now have another week or so to get your entries in if you haven't done it already!!

Choosing one would have been easy if they all were crappy but the entries were awesome so it's taking a little longer.

Sorry guys...We'll get the results up as soon as we decide.

I have to agree that Tuffcity's logo is the one that jumped out at me.

I like tuffcity's too, BUT I sure did like the idea of having the maple leaf on there as well. Perhaps if tuffcity wins he could modify it slightly to incorporate the maple leaf at the right end of bowzone.ca much like Taz has it at the left end. Just a thought! Great job all who entered.... they all looked really good!
