Just trying to sort through the Hunting Regs prior to my trip to Cold Lake this fall. You guys in Alberta have a very cool system with the Hunter Host vs having to hire an actual guide. We do not have anything like that here in New Brunswick...but sure wish we did. What a great idea.

My question is: Can a Hunter Host entertain more than one person from out of province (i.e. two ?) or is the Host restricted to just one hunter only ??

8) :-)
According to the Alberta hunting regs., a resident Hunter-host may accompany a maximum of two(2) non-resident hunters in a given year.

Hey there New Brunswicker, I see you are from my home town. I had to move out here to get some decent hunting, If you have hunted in NB for a number of years I am sure you have seen the deer hunting go from great in the 80's to really sucking now days. Whats your name ? maybe I know you. Oh and by the way you dont have to hire a guide in New Brunswick . There is whats called a class C guides licence in NB. It is basicly the same as a hunter host , A class C guide can not charge for his services. I used to take non res guys out every year when I lived there. C YA

Thanks for the input guys. I actually found it as well in the Regs, finally. I have another "Wicker" coming with me, so making sure we can bowhunt with the same Host.

Thanks again.
