Scott, Mikey and I made it down to the shoot at Eagle's Nest Ranch in Cypress Hills mid afternoon on Saturday. The organisers were good enough to let Shane Olsen (Sniper) and Cody Draper (Jackal) take us out on the course and shoot some targets. It was an extreme pleasure being able to shoot with two such accomplished archers. I learned more in that hour than I thought was possible. Thanks guys! The organisers invited us to stay for an excellent BBQ supper. After the BBQ, they held a Birdie shoot. It was so fun to watch. Once again, thanks to everyone. We had alot of fun. I am sure Scott will have some photos up today and Shane and Cody will chime in with the final results.

Hey guys I hope the trip to the shoot was worth the long drive .I sure think it is and I was happy to help you guys out and sure Sniper was as well .The Medicine Hat Archers did a great job those were some of the toughest courses to shoot that I have seen in a while and myself I can say enough about them for letting Scott son(James) and my son (Justin)shoot the Bowbirds those two little boys loved it .I think my son made a friend for life thats all he talked about on the way home .The results came out Wendel Mills was 1 Dan David 2 and Sean Grover 3 and for myself and Sniper we were tied for the #4.Thanx and hope more people can make it next year its a BLAST .

Been a busy couple of days here, but I thought I'd better post up :D
1st...Mikey, James and me didn't get back to Cochrae until 2 am on Sunday morning...What a drive.LOL! But we did come up with a bunch of interesting stuff on the way back.
2. A huge thank you to the Med. Hat Archers for putting on an awsome shoot! I hope the prizes we donated went over well. Who won em anyway?
3. Always a pleasure to shoot with you guys! I went out on Sunday with Mikey and James and we shot a bunch of arrows. Got it dialed into 30 yards but had to run....It was getting late...but at 30 yards....had groups with 4 arrows touching each other so it's shoots awesome! The extra 1/2 draw makes a ton of difference in the way the bow works. Thanks for that Dennis!!
4. James hasn't taken his medal that he won off for 3 days now. Won't let it out of his sight! LOL! And all he keeps talking about is shooting with justin again. They will be good friends for a long time to come I am sure.
But yes, it was an awesome trip and a great time was had by all!!
Thanks again!
