Bow strings for older bows??

I have an older cable type PSE bow that i would like to put back in action till the new bow arrives but it has one problem.......i need a string.

Were can i get a new one? Would it worth an upgrade?? How do i find out the string length as it's pretty much seperated???:confused::confused:

is the decal on the lower limb gone ?.. the string specs should be there

the issue i have with those older bows (ie: the teardrop and steel braid cables etc...whitch i assume you are talking about) is the sheer age of the limbs etc ... Its nice to stay with Ol' faithfull for sure but then again the new bows of today will make that ol' girl feel fat, heavy and very finaky..

you gotta ask yourself is it worth it .... a new more modern bow that will kill deer etc ...and be reasonable at the target range you can get fully dressed with a package for about 400 bucks (bear in mind thats a starters package) and it all goes up from there
