2002 Hoyt Magnatec

Just wondering if anyone had any experience with the 2002 Hoyt Magnatec. Pros and Cons etc. I'm looking at getting a new bow and a dealer in my area has a couple brand new ones sitting on the rack for a pretty good deal.

It's a good solid bow was available in '03 with xt2000 limbs as well as ZR200 limbs. Not sure but I think the same applies to 2002. XT 2000 are the better limbs if you can get them. The MagnaTec is discontinued for 2004.

yes the magnatec was available with xt2000 limbs in 02 but most shops didn't order them that way because it added about $150 to the price. How much is the price for your bow. My local shop has Magnatec's with zr200 limbs and cam 1/2 on for $439.

Thanks for the help guys. The shop is asking $499, but I can't remember what limbs are on it. I'll have to go back and check. I have it narrowed down to the Magnatec and the Renegade Tominator, but some of the new PSE bows look pretty interesting.............
