To me the yardage estimation is the biggest factor in 3-D. And since my yardage estimation is rough at best, I try to compensate for that with speed and shootability in a bow. For that reason I chose a Bowtech Pro 40 dually for my 3D bow. It is set at 53#'s making holding steady a breeze, yet even at that light poundage with a Gold tip ultra-light 500 weighing in at about 5.5 grns/pound it is pumping them out at 308 ft/sec. Sweet shooting bow and I'm very pleased with the purchase!
