Hi everyone,

I am new to this board, and relatively new to the world of bow hunting. I have been doing it for acouple of years now and am really enjoying it. This year I was able to draw for archery Antelope. I recently put a D-loop on my bow and am having a tuff time tuning my fixed balde broadheads so I am thinking I am going to switch to mechanicals (NAP Spitfire XP). I'm also going to try moose hunting with the bow. My question to all of you is; Are mechanicals good for big game such as moose?

I love the tekan by G5. My moose died in under 40 yards, and my bear this spring only went 20 feet.

Wlcome to the zone!!!

Try tieing both knots under the arrow nock, this gives the arrow some downward pressure and can change the spine a little. Give it a try.
