Alright - I finally have a DSLR and it was free to boot! Picked it up with my plethera of airmiles :laugh: since I can never seem to book a vacation with them.
I got a Nikon D40 with the 18-55mm lens kit and it will take some getting used to menu, functionality, etc.
What are the other DSLR users out there using for their photography? What gear do you normally take for outdoor/field shots?
