Ville's hit was stupid I will give you that 5 min HHHmmm mabey but had he got up and skated too the bench like he was going to (wasn't hurt that bad) but one of the players kept telling him too stay down helped with the 5 min... But I was dirty and he deserves what ever he gets...

How important is the first goal?????? Seems evryone is a sure thing so why is it less than 3 min in the game we are down 5-3???? May as well made Kipper serve one himself... But in the 2nd period Tampa was going too be called and B4 the stop they just about decapitate a Flames player but Nope no 5 on 3 for 2 min for us.. You know if this keeps up you might just pull this off.....

It seemed that both teams were actually playing good solid hockey tonight. Not alot of bullshit went on between the teams and the ref's did't call squat. They just let them play which was a great idea either way it could have gone. Made for an enjoyable game. Even better that the flames won though :lol: :lol:

First of all I'm not a flames fan and I was just telling it like I saw it. The reffing was bad on both sides not the way a game 7 should have been called and what was with the charging call with 1 min. left in the game? He could have at least caled the right penalty wich if any would have been a high stick, still not a call that should have been made in a stanley cup final with 1 min. left. Other then that that I thought tampa deserved to win the game they dominated the first 2 periods and very nice work by Lecavilier to set up the second goal.

hahahahaha now this was funny that all being said I am not biased ... I am a fan of the game not of any teams ... I was 25% right on my pre-season picks of Calgary or edmonton goin a ways and doing well this year and the same for Minnisota or Atlanta ,only one of those teams made the playoffs ... you were cryin about Sutters Speach quido No body cried about Gretzkys Speech 2 years ago ... the reffing in the final series was the worst all around for both teams ...oh and the series woulda been over in 6 if the ref had his eyes open when they didnt call a goal ..... But every Stanley Cup Final I can recall for the last 10 years has had some sort of contriversy involved (ya'll remember the kicked into the net Cup winner by Hull a few years back???) so I aint surprised ........ I am just happy I had the chance to watch some great hockey and a great series ... But what the NHL has got to do is fire Gary Bettman ..... theres a reason why he was fired from the NBA ....hes an Idiot

Let face it boys.. The cup is rite where the NHL needs it too be.. Let's face it Betman needs TV rites in the states in order too keep this thing afloat so do what ever it takes.... Guido I don't expect you too see things my way you can't I could go on about the reffing,, No review on a goal in game 6 of the finnal calling penalties with only a couple minutes left in games,5 on 3's that basically ensures a goal when needed stuff like that but I won't.... Cuz you will never see it... And let's face it if the cup was up here Americans would have even less intrest in the NHL so they NEEDED the cup By they I meen the NHL... All I have to say is since it is there spread the word on how great a game it is too draw attention too it... Here we know it's a great sport...

That being said Tampa played good hockey and so did the flames.. We came out flat first 2 periods the Bulin wall stopped Leapolds shot in the third was awsome... So I don't want too take anything away from Tampa...

In my eyes the legue and the reffs made it hard for me too see what a great series it could have been and I know you are going too come back call me what ever you want but I think $$$$$$$ played a big part in this outcome..... As for the term Bandwagon I personaly have cheered for the flames since they came too Calgary from Atlanta in 1980 and remeber my dad taking me too the coral too watch games so i would not comcider myself a bandwagoner... There was alot of new fans this playoff run but i can bet the house there was just as many if not more in Tampa and that's great it's what the NHL needs so I have no prob with NEW FANS..... Well I'll admit it....I'm a bandwagon fan of the Flames. I had to. I'm a Leafs fan and we all know what happens to them in the playoffs (every year) so I just naturally jump to the next Canadian team left. Gotta or I'll have no one to cheer for past the 1st or 2nd round!!!
