You guys are getting that crappy weather too, we got close to 6 inches of snow on friday its all melted now but its damn cold and windy outside right now. Ive been triing to get out and tune my bow for a week now and haven't been able to due to the 50+ km/h winds. I hate May!

Hello Jack
Was over in the Wanham area a few weeks back, Been seeing lots of game and some old rubs but have not found any sheds as of yet. should be down there again towards the end of the month and maybe should be able to look some more ,,,,Grandson had an event at school where he took acouple of old sheds that I had for (show and tell) and they enjoyed seeing them. One was a non-typical that my dog dragged home last summer and another typical.
ps.......should be in the Birch Hills soon........

I went back at the end of Feb. Our bucks start dropping them in late Jan. I guess with the warm winter we had they must have dropped early but I didn't find any worth keeping. Squirrels had chewed on everything I found.

Took a short hike last Sunday in Kananaskis, but didn't find any sheds. I had a friend drive down south to California last week. In southern Alberta they saw elk that still had their antlers. I thought by now they would have dropped.

Is there any better then regular spots to look for sheds as I hunt on a fairly large farm with allot of open fields and thick hardwoods in between

have a ton of deer in our area but have yet to find any sheds, only got out a couple of times but saw bucks still sporting thier racks the first time out. Don't know if I'll get a chance to get out now that it's bear season.

I've found a few deer and moose antlers over the years, but I don't seem to find them when I go out looking for them.

found a real nice moose shed several years ago rounding up the neighbors cattle in a pasture of solid bush. Once we got the cattle penned I went back to get it but couldn't find where I saw it. Found one at a 3D shoot looking for my arrow on a target I missed. Those are the only ones I've found.
