Well, we got home from nationals on Sunday night and my bow stayed sleeping in its case until last night. Last night we had 3D league and my motivation was zero. It seems to me that everyone else was afflicted to as the scores were absolutely terrible.
Does anyone else have the hangover?

It is not "hangover". It is more like the feeling you get after the hype of Christmas is over. You work and work until the day. You peak. Then there is the come down. It is common in all sports. Now you need to set a new goal to get on the upswing again.
I dunno about you guys but i am SICK of shooting indoors for the time being!! SO pumped for the outdoor season to kick off! Time to start gettting prepared for outdoor nationals!!
Just wait Wookie, after the first outdoor shoot the juices will be flowing again!!

Jude is correct. It is called "POST TOURNAMENT DEPRESSION" or "ptd" for short. I hate it but it is all about setting a new goal before the shoot is over. Its hard after the outdoor nationals because you know you have no more 3D untill "next year"

Don't you set goals during hunting season? I try to NOT miss.
It is also a time to relax and take some time off. That can be a goal. Everyone needs a "time of".

I usually try to set a goal of one species of animal per year. eg. elk one year, sheep the next, moose the next etc. So far not so good. I got skunked last year for sheep.
3D year round :) :) :) Foam tastes good too.
