Hey i'm switching up my Nova for smoething with a little more mmmpff. I was recomended the xforce by many people. Anyones input on quality of shot, forgiveness or anything would be appreciated. I'd be using it for deer and rocky mountain elk.

Not a fan .... hard to tune arrows to ...harsh draw cycle ...near impossible to get proper spined arrow ...5 inch groups are as tight as they get ... .. ok for hunting ...not so much if yer a target fan

I got my info from a well known and seasoned shooter up here in north BC ... Maybe 'cause he has a draw of an arangatang

Used this bow last season for hunting. Shot several broadheads out fifty yards and got 4" groups. The arrows I use are GT Ultralites 28-3/4" 100 grain broadheads ( slicktrick, Montec, RM Turbos, and Wacems) flying at 336fps. The bow has a stacked draw, but I think it is one of the best bows you can get for hunting. The 7" brace height version would be more forgiving.

Mikey that little clunk we hear is the last marble hitting the floor......
It is now official Mikey has lost all his marbles!....:D
Just kidding....
It is an agressive little bow. It is very popular and people who have them like them. I tried one and found it to shoot quite nice with much less hand shock than I expected for its speed. good hunting bow!... Nice short ATA and nice to pack in bush!...

I personally didnt like it enough to shoot when i picked it up...felt all wrong ... the guy I got my info from is a highly respected archer in these parts (well respected enough to carry his wifes bow anyway) with a 31 or 32 inch draw ... he said he couldnt get it to tune with any arrow he tried ...

Anyways Sorry Mikey i was being harsh a bit... 2nd hand info is always dangerous....
But it is a nice bow... again it comes down to personal preference... It would not be my first choice... but it would be pretty hard not to get an arrow to tune in any type of commercially available bow.... if one really understands what arrow tuning is!....
many times people blame tuning for not being able to group and it an be something as simple as bow not fitting the archer.... long draw length Short ATA not usually conducive to accuracy!....
And for the record I shoot what I shoot because it feels the best... I did try a X-force... just did not suit me!...
here have a. and feel better!....

Bow definately doesn't shoot like its designed. Incredibly fast and accurate. Watched Eric Griggs pound tens with one in Vegas and had a chance to shoot his. Couldn't belive he was shooting one for spots, but he felt it was definately accurate enough for him to win with in any venue.
Definately a step in the right direction for PSE!

I have the 7" version and i just love this bow.Very fast and it will shoot if you can.I have been shooting it for about 8Mos.,and shoot it just as well as any out there.Tune it up and go to work, its a bow that can, and does, shoot as good as the archer or beter. You wont be disapointed if you decide to get one.pan.

Ya Mikey,PSE has done a turn around.I believe that they are refining their equipment to be more shooter frendly, and fast. The price isnt tooo bad eather.
Saying that, its hard to find a major company that puts out a bad bow in todays world.People find out quick what works and what doesnt, thanks to wounderfull sites like this. The internet will make or break ya in short order,if ya dont have your product rite.::) pan.

I respectfully disagree .... the origs were worse than the Spirals on my Super Tec
the newest GX cams I compare to the Binarys on my 101st (speed mods)

I got mine in march and have shot some of my best rounds with it . I like the grip its a lot like my hoyts. The 6in bh didn`t bother me much. ...to me it draws 1/2in long . What i have been having trouble with is my release . I have been shooting the same zenith back tension since i started shooting. With this xforce i feel i am not getting as clean a release

horse puckey ...the draw cycle on a oman is a little harsh but a gx or an axe are very smooth for a speed bow. 5 in groups my ass

I have been using a #70 HF Xforce which has a 6 inch brace height....it was my first bow and I struggled at first. The early xforces had poor quality strings.
I just bought a new AXE 7 with 7 inch brace height ad pick it up Tuesday....will post the first impression.

i thought i answered you last week jim. For hunting i would try the axe 7 its draw length adjustable to the 1/2 inch And with a 7 in. brace it will be a good hunting bow. smooth and fairly speedy.

Which X-force were you looking at?
I have 3 different ones. I have the Omen, which is extremely fast and will live up to your expectations for speed, however you get what comes with it....hard to draw, and your form better be exact. I wouldnt recommend this bow for a novice hunter/shooter.
I also have a Axe 6 for 3-D. Would totally recommend this bow to anyone. Smooth drawing and very quiet to shoot. Very fast. I have a 28.5 inch draw and at 5 grains per pound i can kick them out at 330 fps.
Also.... I have a Vendetta XL for 3-d. Awesome all round bow. Smooth drawing and extremely nice to hold at full draw. For an X-force this would be my suggestion for anyone to buy. Will also satisfy your speed requirement.
If you have questions call me at 780-918-2311 Kevin is the name, PSE is my game.
Cheers.
