This may not be news for some of you, but I was just informed by Don Oldfield, that Jackpine Archery will be shutting down. On behalf of Bighorn Bowhunters & Archers, we wish to thank Don and Marion for their past support, their contribution to the sport of archery and 3-D and wish them every success in the future!

That is too bad. 1 less of the good archery ranges around. Best of luck to Don and Marion. IS Bighorn ready for the overflow?

That's a shame. I have shot up there a few times...Kicked dnegard's arse...and had a blast. Gonna miss em. How come they're closing?

Not 100% sure, but I got the feeling they want to finally be able to kick back a bit and enjoy some of the other local 3-D action, instead of being tied to their own schedule of leagues and instructional programs.
P>S> Bighorn is always ready for a good shoot

Hey Bill, are they shutting down right away or are they going to close after the summer?

I went out last night(yes....in the hurricane) to pick up a few targets we had purchased. My guess is he is closing now and is selling off all of his targets. I also believe???? that they are planning a big sale of some kind around the end of May. Not sure if it archery related but i will keep u posted if you wish.

Please do keep us informed Bill. Archers around the Calgary area might be able to pick up some good deals.

He could always sell all the surplus stuff that he has on ehunt.ca bighorn. You should let him know about it. And it's free to use! Clilck the banner in my sig line.

When you get big enough Scott well play again,
went out to Don and Marions today and picked up another target and am thinking about heading back tommorow to see if they have any left
