I bet some of you have used the Springy before. I ordered one, which led to four more. Simple and reliable. You can shoot vanes with no problem, and I bet they will last for a long time. Ordered mine from Martin, which included several springs to use. I, on the advise of Warf, use the heaviest one. I just install, and cut it off to length, and slot it for a screwdriver.
