first deer

took my neffew hunting today he had never shot a deer with his bow. we saw a herd of 6bull moose first 2 minites of the hunt. no season. then he missed a 4 piont muley so we put a stock on a herd of muleys . he shot a 2 point muley the arrow was a little far forward and a little high. went through the shoulder blade clipped the top of one lung cut the iorta off the top of the heart. the scarey part of that there was no blood. about 100 yards away there was a few fine spots of blood on the snow. he was dead another 100 yards away

thanks everyone ----what really shocked me was the total lack of blood . there probably was less then 10 very small spots of blood. with out snow we would of had a hard time finding it. the shot was high and the chest cavity filled up with blood.
