I just picked up a super tech hoyt bow . Its never been used not even one arrow shot out of it.My question is how would a trap door rest suit this bow . I will only be using it for 3D.It has the spiral cams 29 inch draw. Does anyone have a web site where I can take a look at those rests.

I like mine.... no cables or junk to get in way!....They make a bit of noise but some mohair fixed mine.....Make sure it is set right and the loc-tite it!.... It is a simple rest.... the set screw is easy to adjust....

Works good for me!.....

Having said that there are other drop aways i would look at as well, ripcord, ultra rest, trophy taker as well.....

dont like em ... had one when they first came out .... the only way they work was if your bow was jumpy as it worked on inertia .... failed on me lots .... dont trust the newer ones to try again ...

Oh and it was a 28" hoyt Super tec

Mikey you know why it didn't work.... You can' recognise difference between kinetic energy, momentum, and inertia...

You have to believe to make it work man!...

My Mathews Outback is far from being a jumpy bow and it works fine.

With what I hear about them i would not buy one...... But having had one and havin no problems with it so far (3 years) I would buy another one.

Trap Door Arrow Rest

Switch to the new Trap Door Mach 4 Fall-Away rest and you'll pick up to 10 fps!

The Trap Door Mach 4 is the world's only inertia activated fall-away arrow rest. It's internally triggered by bow inertia or movement when you release the bowstring. There are no external springs, cords, linkages, or tubing to catch on brush or branches.

The Trap Door Mach 4, which is new for 2004, falls away 66% faster for even less contact with the arrow. And less arrow contact means less friction which translates into arrow speeds that are up to 10 fps faster than with conventional arrow rests. Unlike corded fall-away rests, the Trap Door Mach 4 can be adjusted to allow your rest to fall at different points in the arrow's travel. This feature makes tuning easier on bows without perfectly level nock travel.
