I'm trying to figure out the right arrow weight, length etc for my recurve. Currently I'm using full length Patroit Heatseekers 45/60 with 100 grain inserts and either 100 or 125 grain points. The bow is 45lbs at 28inches 52 inches AMO. My draw length is 27 inches on my compound and roughly the same with the recurve. If you have any different ideas I would love to hear them. Thanks.

If you hit to the right add more weight to the point. If you hit left they are to weak ,but I realy doubt therse are to weak. To confirm they are weak add a match stick behind the strike plate material. Things shopuld improve if they are weak. Then you can cut the shaft.
On bows with similar weights near length's as yours I use these same shafts with 200 to 300 gr points. Trad bows like heavy arrows.

They should be a little stiff for your set-up unless they are full length.
