Hey gang
I made my first post the other day in the Target Archery forum, but will be spending most of my time here I think.
To recap, im going to start shooting at the range when I get home from work in a couple of weeks. I started looking at bows & saw that the recurves from PSE are right in the range I was hoping to pay!
Would one of those be suitable for a beginner, but good enough to grow with? Im looking at the Kudu, Coyote & Impala. There isnt too much info on the site, so what makes the Kudu $100 more than the Impala?
Also, what is a good weight to start with? Im 29, 5'1", 180lbs, in good shape.
Lastly, what other companies should I look at for comparable products?
Thanks
S.

There are better bows available in the same range. PSE is realy a compound company. look at a company that builds Traditional bows. the price for a good bow will not break the bank.
A Check-Mate falcon runs $300.00, and a Thunderbird is $375 tax included!!

There are many other good hand made bows available that will not break the bank.I have reviews on my site for trad bows that will give you a feel for some of what is available.
