Just in case some of you are interested in weighing your nocks, points, vanes and arrows; here is a little insight into weight conversion:
there is 437.5 grains in an ounce.
I have been toying around with my new grain scales today and measuring all of my arrow components in order to make a perfectly matched set of arrows. I have found a lot of discrepencies in the weight of all those components. So, I marked each piece with a sharpie pen and in the next few days I will be matching up the components to try to get everything as close as humanly possible in my arrows.
That grain weight junk got me to wondering just how many grains was in an ounce. So I did a search on yahoo.com and found a really neat site that has a Weight Conversion table . The site is: http://www.onlineconversion.com/weight_all.htm
just in case you want to play around with a neat conversion chart. :)
