Didn't want to start this out until I had something to post...

This morning, I shot a 35 - 40" bull moose! Just finished getting hung up, skinned and cleaned...

Looooong day!

Went hunting with a friend of mine this morning and sat a stand just inside the bush off of an alfalfa field...found (HA! CODY! I found this one!!) the stand and was in it by 6:30...hear a bunch of noise in the bush...sounded like deer but didn't see any. About 10 to 8...2 bull moose came walkin' along...Shot the biggest of the 2..slight quartering away shot..25 yards...took out both lungs and exited through the opposite shoulder.

Found something out today though...my arctic cat can pull a whole bull moose without any extra help (except over the logs...:laugh)!

Great day! Great bull! Freezer's gettin' full already!

No, I didn't get the shot on Video...my camera's at Canon gettin' fixed and Ryan was a 1/2 mile away in his own stand. Too bad though...it would have been cool!

I just got the story from the horses mouth. Sounds like one hell of a hunt!

I still think that someone else shot that buck for Scotty, cuz he surely isn't capable of bringing down something that nice! :flipoff:
