I would have waited just a little bit longer for shot as he was leaving. They probably couldn't show the recovery because they didn't get him cleanly, There was a lot of shoulder in the way.

I agree, I would have waited it out, he may have turned, he may not have turned, either way it would have been incredible!! Cool video, I think I would have had to clean my drawers out after that one!! Amazing!!

I ran into the source of this video at yukon stone outfitters. To my surprise they flaunt this as a marketing tool to potential clients. To settle the dispute, at least partially, they recover the animal and they make it look pretty easy... The kicker for me is they roll credits to a phone number! Just think... for $16k US you can find yourself under a moose narrowly escaping with your life - WHAT VALUE!!! :bang:

As for the debate about the shot, I guess it wasn't as juicy as Mikey hoped.

PS I'm pretty sure Mrs. Knotter would burn my gear if she saw me in this video.

I would have waited, it looked like he would have continued walking along. but hindsight is 20/20 and I was not there with all the exitement.

That's Dwight Schuh from Bowhunter magazine and TV. Whole thing was aired on TV last season. I doubt he takes many risky shots on film. But, yeah that took nerve to trigger that close. Most of us don't get that close to moose so it's hard to say.
