Mikey, just tell Warden that you have wrecked all your arrows field testing. I am sure that he will just go out and by you a dozen. You know, Bowzone staff perks. :shock:

This sounds like a great way to meet some hunters in the area and I have never been in a shoot before so this sounds like it would be a lot of fun, I'm in!!!!!!

Hey Warden,

I was bored and browsin' tonight and came across this old post. This was from before I joined so I don't know if it ever caught on, did you guys ever have a Bowzone Fun Shoot? I never saw anything else about it so I figure probably not, but is it something you guys are still considering?

Seems like 3D is getting more and more popular so it might go now, even if it didn't go then.

Hey Grizz....We're still thinking about it...I have been sooooooo busy with Wild TV and my other stuff, I haven't been able to find the time to put this together....Maybe you guys can coordinate with cdnarcher and see what ya can come up with....I just don't have the time with the new servers and new site and everything else.....

I know Trev could use some help if we were to run something like this....

Hey, if I can help out at all I sure will. I work shift and I'm up in Northern Sask, not like you sunny Southern Alta boys. If it goes ahead and it's on a weekend that I can get off I can help out as much as needed. I could come out the day before and help set up, help at registration or with advertising, etc.

What had you guys thought of for location of shoot, etc. Does Bowzone have some of their own targets, or would we have to approach a club to borrow theirs. I have a McKenzie grazing doe that I could bring if that would help. If you guys would like a change of venue, maybe you could convince enough people to travel up to Sask's beautiful parkland, we have a couple really nice spots that we have available for the shoots. I might be talking out of school, I haven't talked to anybody in our local club about that but we're planning on running 2 shoots this spring/summer anyway.

Anyway, let me know if I can help if it goes ahead and I'll do what we can.
