Foothills conditions?

Has anyone been out in the foothills N-west of Calgary lately? (Red deer river latitude)....What are conditions like?

Dash,I was up west of Caroline Last weekend for 3 days.The snow is pretty much gone.All south facing slopes are snowfree and there isn't much left on the north facing.

Thanks Blue, Got a look myself from a couple miles up on sunday...just snow in the darkest spots! Now if it wasn't for that stupid work thing.... :wink:

been out quadding the last 4 mondays and most of the snow is gone except is some shady areas, water is open and moving, muskeg is still frozen underneath in some spots, but we did get stuck good a couple of times.
