Turkeys and Bears ...turkeys and bears ....turkeys and bears .....ahhhh I cant take it anymore .....

So anyway, Just a short poll ... what bows have ya'll hunted with ... what made you make the move to a new bow

for me my Bowhunting carreer started with an old PSE Polaris Express I think I got it 4th hand ... Did alot of hunting but not much shooting at critters with it  I was inexpirianced when I got it ...but it was my first shot of archers adreniline ... i got it in 2002 ... in 2003 I got a Martin Jaguar Magnum I liked that bow alot ... I broke my Bow hunters cherry with that bow .... I liked it so much that I went out the next year in search of a bow for strictly target .... Now that is when I first picked up a Hoyt .... Ohhh SuperTec... Now I fought with myself whether to target with the Super Tec and keep the Jag Mag for a long time .... Untill I hunted one day with the Super Tec .... I gave the Martin a little Kiss and shipped it off to someone else... Now that puts me into another dialemma ... I now have to set up for target and for hunting with the Super tec ... I didnt mind tho ... Untill spring of 2k6 I got me a Hoyt Pro tec for target ... now its spring of 2k7 and I have a Hoyt Trykon to shoot target with ... as for My Super Tec .... its happy just killing Deer, this year its gonna kill a moose ...maybe an elk .... possibly a bear .... and definatly a wild boar or 2

Is it wrong to love a bow so much ... My Super tec is the best

My initial hunting bow was a Browning Micro Midas, I would have gotten it in '90, then I upgraded to a Jennings Titan, Multiple PSE's, a couple of hoyts, a Browning Midas, Till in '98 I purchased an Alpine Teton light. That bow has stayed with me until last your I went to Alpine Avalanche then this year I traded it in for a Alpine Silverado.

The browning broke my cherry(on a rabbit)
My Jennings took my first deer
My Nova took my biggest white-tail(still stands)
and my Teton light took my largest Mulie.

So far the only major company I haven't owned is Martin, bowtech and Mathews.

I just bought a BowTech Tomcat yesterday. Its my first real dedicated hunting bow I am a born again archery hunter. I spent last year hunting with a 55# Martin Hunter recurve but I just couldn't get really confident with it so I mostly just walked around and looked cool :) I bought the Tomcat to get serious about it again. So far its been a nice bow.

First hunting bow was a behemoth Martin Lynx Magnum but I learned all the same! Practiced haphazardly for two years before going into the field with it. Never did get close enough to try and shoot anything with it. Replaced it with a PSE Bruin which I have loved shooting. I've been fortunate enough to take shots that missed at some nice sized elk and did break it open with skillful shooting at a skunk!
