Distance: 152 yards (you sat in the grass last week)
Conditions: It's late spring and bear season is still open
Situation: You've been resting your eyes out of boredom and just opened them.


Will you take the shot?

well if the grass aint deep ... that bear looks pretty young tho ....see space between ears .... I would hafta say that I concur with MA and Sniper .... Wait for something bigger than whats in my daughters bedroom now

Well if the bear were bigger, I'd still wait for a broadside.

those who passed made the right call, while this bear had one of the nicest coats I have seen...it was so shiny black it was almost purple....unfortunately he was a 5 footer on his best day. As far as the shot...he offered several good broadsides at 35yds in fact he never did leave...we left him still eating in the grass.... so for those that wanted him, a little patience would have given you a nice broadside shot.

Yup if it was down in this part of-- bc --it would be a happy cabbage patch. Thats bears faverite food. --- Id shoot him be like eating hash brownies.

:lol: all things considered, no to the shot. one to small, two , could have been a cub hunkered up under mama or in th"happy cabbage" :sunnyy5: , and three just poor animal positioning.
