Very cool, thanks for the opportunity Doug! Please clarify for all of us:

An editorial is an expressed opinion of the organization, in your case 'Great Canadian Sportsman' provided by the Editor or Publisher.

As none of us qualify in that capacity I assume that what you are looking for is submissions from our online community interested in freelance writing or column writing?

If so, are you looking for stories, experiences, reviews and techniques as well as tips specific to Deer Hunting in Canada (you had mentioned fishing as well but referred to the 2008 Annual for Deer)?

Those not tech-savvy with digital photos may also need some more guidance as to what an 8x11 digital photo is (resolution, compression, etc.) and what criteria are necessary for the photos (.jpg, .bmp, .png, etc.). Are photos required for every submission? Can personal art work be used? Can harvested animals be used and if so, what positions, profiles are allowed?

Any specific document format or style for the written piece (eg. MSWord, WordPerfect, ASCII, etc.)? Are there any compatibilty issues if the digital material provided is sourced from a Mac computer?
