Was the arrow too short, or did they shoot a broken arrow. I've seen this with a carbon that had been cracked in the middle and wasn't checked before being fired. Guess that's why they have the warning on them to always check before shooting. Does anyone do this religously? or just on the odd occassion?

I check my arrows on every shot...I definetly don't want that to happen to me...lemme tell ya

I saw the pictures at work of the fella with the arrow in the back of his head over a year ago. It was good to hear how the guy is doing and what cause the accident. I show people those pics and they can't believe the guy is alive. Now I have some more info about the accident to share. Also it is a great visual training aid.

If you check archery talk. com this is the second that has been posted in as many weeks.
I personaly know two men that this has happened to.
This is all so why I switched to aluminium full time.
