I haven't personally tried them, but I have heard good things about them. Al Woolridge shoots them and seems to like them. I will try to get some info from him.

**EDIT** I am not sure Magnok is even in busuness any more. I do know that Calgary Archery Centre has several dozen hanging on the wall.

I found this pertaining to Magnocks

Dear Friends of Magnock,

Magnock is no longer producing or selling magnetic nocks due to the acquisition of the Patent. The new Patent owner will be marketing their version of the magnetic arrow nocking system and will be announced shortly. We wish to thank everyone for their past support and helping make Magnock a part of what helped archers achieve 19 world records, numerous national, state and local titles and personal bests.

Replacement and warrantee parts will still be available through mail as long as supplies last. Send your items in a padded or bubble wrap envelope with $4.00 US to cover handling and postage to:

Aznat, llc. / Magnock
P.O. Box 31051
Phoenix, AZ 85046

Emails will still be occasionally monitored through sales@magnock.com

Chris sold magnocks to NAP (I think) so you will likely see a revitalization in their use. Tim Gillingham (MAthews Pro) won several major shoots using them and came close to breaking 1400 with them. I don 't think he is currently using them though.

I tried them indoors and for outdoor FITA with moderate success. I feel I gave them an adequate trial as I shot them for a full year outdoords. I found they worked very well at distances to 70m, but groups began to spread at 90m. This may be due to the fact that they were nevefr designed for use with barrel tappered shafts and I was trying to make them work with X10s and ACE. Chris indicated that navigators would have been a better choice.

The other problem that I disliked was having my arrow fall out of the receiver on a let-down. I also experienced about a 7 fps speed loss, which was totally acceptable to me in a target application.

Overall I think they worked very well at short to mederate distances and I would not hesitate to use them again for 3D or indoor target.
