Any TC Encore owners on here?

I purchased an Encore a year ago in 223rem. Hunted coyotes with it last winter and had a blast! This summer I purchased a 25-06 barrel and took a nice 9 point with it on the 24th of October. Now I'm completely hooked on the Encore! If my wife knew how many barrels and receivers I'm thinking about, I'd be in the doghouse for sure :eek: !

I'd like to hear from other guys addicted to the Encore and any hunting stories you all might have.

SIR MailOrder has a good selection of TC Encore rifles, barrels, and accessories. But I'd recommend buying a barrel from them in late spring/early summer, just after the new catalogue comes out. The majority of the barrels sell quickly, especially the stainless heavies. This year the 28" ProHunter barrels sold amazingly fast. And don't let anyone tell you that the Thompson barrels don't shoot, they're very accurate.

I too am a TC Encore shooter. I bought mine which is a SS 209x50 w/t-hole stock. three years ago. It wears a Nikon Omega 3-9x40 scope on top of Burris Signature Zee Rings.
I absolutly love this m.l. and took 4 deer with it last year(3 with ml barrel and 1 with SS
.308 barrel). It loves 120grs loose T7 powder and a 250gr SST. I also have a .204 Ruger barrel for it which did it's job last winter with 'yotes and this years crop of gophers.
This was definately one of my better investments!!
