After a less than stellar bow season, I have decided to go back to instinctive shooting.
This was my second year using a sight, and have yet to kill anything. I keep catching myself looking around the sight because it just seems to be in the way.
I have done great with them at the range, but in a hunting situation, I can't get used to it.
When i was shooting with no sight, I never wounded or missed a deer. Always a clean, quick kill. And won lots of tournaments in the off season.
After thinking my season was over, I hooked up with some associates from work who are more than eager to see me shoot a Whitetail with a rifle.
I haven't shot a rifle for 8 years, so it could be a little sketchy.
Heading out tomorrow morning while the rig is moving.
Hopefully my next post will have some pics attached.
