I am looking for someone to come into my home to teach my wife and I the FAC course.

We have little kids, so I'ts really difficult for us to go out to get the course.
Neither of us know squat about guns, so challenging the exam could get expensive at $50 a crack. I am willing to pay well, but not outrageous.

She wants to go rifle hunting, and I want a shotgun so I can go goose hunting with my Dad.

If anyone can accomodate, PM me.
Thanks, Joey

Joey,

If you go to AHEIA, they have manuals that you can purchase for around $10.00 or $15.00. You can study them and then challenge the PAL at their building - the cost to write the examination is a donation to AHEIA. The exam is not difficult, and most of it is common sense. They have an office in SE Calgary. I would suggest that you contact them. here is there website which has contact information etc on it:

Hope this helps,

Ken

Thanks for that info ducker. I called AHEIA in Edmonton here and they do the same...also Hunting for Tomorrow foundation does as well. They are both not for profit orgs so there's no set fee, it's on a donation basis. I would much rather give my $$ to a good organization.

Oh, in Edmonton here at Hunting for Tomorrow (AHEIA) they will charge you 15.00 for the book but you get that credited back if you want when you make the donation to take the test.

Just an fyi for everyone.
