I guess the dog team that is headed to AB stopped in Toronto yesterday - I got mine.

Looks pretty cool. Yeah it is small, especially compared to my 1.5" Spitfire mechanicals. I am going to give it a try though. The theory that 2 holes in the deer is better than 1 is right. Conversely, the bigger the hole you make the greater the chance of severing something significant enough for a fast kill.

I really like how it fits together. Thunderheads always feel flimsy to me but the Sonic is rock solid.

Forgive me but how do I get in on this broadhead in the mail stuff?

Anyway, I have a buddy who used them on moose last year and liked them.

Unfortunately I missed out on the mail thing, but I used them last year and even though they are small they did a number on a little bull moose. It was a pass through at 17 yrds and the only thing that happened was the very end of the blades where they join to make the point flattened out about an 1/8" . But the blades are replaceable so I didn't think they performed to bad. Flew straight and quiet.

I got mine yesterday. Gonna be a bit before I can get to the range, tho. Parent - Teacher reviews and the like. I hear they frown on bringing weaponary into the schools......

mine met with missfortune i had a malfuntion with my new solution2 1/2 . The sonic only lost one blade going through the 3/4 inch fir plywood but when it hit the cinderblock well its kinda no good no more. :boohoo:

Oops. Call them. Maybe they'll warranty replace it anyhow. Tell them it's their fault because it worked too well on the plywood.

Did you lose the arrow too?

Got my first bow kill yesterday. Sonic heads worked great!

Regular 100gr Sonic. Glanced off a rib on the opposite side and bent a bit but still made the pass through. I've got a picture of the broadhead but it's a bit blurry so I'll try and get a better one.
