After looking at alot of patterns out there , I came up with this idea to save a few $$ and to get what I was looking for. I purchased desert camo from e-bay and then painted dead tree branches on one side flat black , and while paint was fresh and wet , pressed it onto the camo. This made a mottled looking branch that looks more 3D than just bruching paint on. Let me know how you like it.

Very nice! If you ever consider making more there is a spray paint available at Canadian Tire that gives the same effect as your branches without going to all the hassle of painting and pressing them on to the fabric. It is called "Webbing" paint. I don't have the can handy to tell you the maker, but I do know Canadian Tire carries it.

Great idea! I was thinking about doing that with a pair of painter's coveralls to make myself some snow camo for late season hunting. Let us know how it holds up to the washing machine.

I have heard about the webbing paint on another site but then forgot what site and the name of it as well. It looked good in the pic the guy posted, that is for sure.

I think the other site was Pete Ward's site, I used the stuff and some brown spray paint on a set of white fleece covvies, to make a dandy set of snow camo.
I got the white fleece coveralls at Russel's for less than $60.
Wash 'em before you do the camo job.
