I'm a very... veryyyy new bow user.

The rig I got came with 4 arrows with target heads.

I know if I wanted to go for some big game I'd be looking at some good BroadHeads (Wasp makes some very good ones I hear).

But what about for uppland game birds like Grouse? I saw some heads that looked like they had 4 claws on them, that were meant to kill smaller animals on impact... I forget the name of them right now :\

What do you guys use?

rtienier all those heads work but cost lots. So what i do is buy as light a field tip as i can 65 gr. and put a washer behind it . or a bottle cap.

Ya know, I tried the washer trick once and the arrows flew like a drunk squirrel. I just use 75 gr points & adders now OR Martin's 85 grain bludgeons.

I use a 2 blade Tusker broadhead and a fluFlu arrow for birds and rabbits. You can't beat a 2 blade for good kills and reliability after they hit the dirt. just hammer them straight with a rock if needed and keep on going. Tuskers are only $20.00 a 6 pack .
