Being that it's a dream hunt it would have to be for greater kudu on the dark continent. They're beautiful animals and rate right up there with elk for me.

There's so many to choose from but first on my list is to go Bighorn Sheep hunting I would really like to have a full curl ram hanging on my wall, I'm still thinking about going this year, probably in the willmore wilderness area near Grande Cache if I can find someone to go with me, most of my buddies say "You want to do what? are you nuts?" and the ones who will go aren't sure if they can get time of work to go.

For me it would be Kodiak brown bear, with a few supermodels to keep me company at camp. Thats my dream hunt :D

Mine would be a multiple species combo hunt. I would take a month to hunt, explore and enjoy the outdoors. Maybe a moose, bear, caribou, sheep hunt up north. Or a safari hunt in Africa. Can't single it down to one animal.

:!: Definitely Alaska/Yukon 60 inch bull moose! Since it's a dream I might as well get a grizzly with my bow as well to see how I hold up under deathly fear.
Great question!!

I have two dream hunts. The first is a Desert Nuley hunt in the sonora. One of those extremely wide desert bucks needs to hang on my wall after a hard, hot hunts.
The second is a Polar Bear Bowhunt on the ice surrounding Axel Heiberg island in the high arctic. I have had the pleasure of flying up there to pick up an successful american bear hunter and have dreamed about it ever since.
I agree, this is a great topic.

I dream of many hunts but theres 2 at the top of my list. For one I would love to hunt one of those world class Saskatchewan whitetails, but I truly dream of going on one of those back country horse back hunts for a big bull elk. I've never even seen an elk in real life before or been on a horse.

I agree with Tecspec on his dream hunt. I'd love to go to after one of those Alaksa/Yukon moose. They're so big even I could possibly hit one. The next thing I'd do is go to the White Mountain Reservation in Arizona and try for one of those huge bull elk those guys have down there. Unfortunately the wife wants to go to someplace like the Dominican before I ever get a thought of a hunt like those.   I tried suggesting she go there with her friends and I'd go north but she just won't go for it. She claims it's not romantic enough!!! I told her there ain't nothing as romantic as an 1800 lb bull moose with loving on his mind!!!

Mine is a Desert Bighorn, it is the last Sheep i need for my slam!!! I have 8 year's priority in Arizona drawing system so i am crossing my finger's!!!
I can't afford to purchase a auction tag or the full blown guided hunt in Mexico so i have to take my chance's through the regular draw system!!!
