Alberta Bow Shops?

Hi guys, I'm new here, hoping you can hep me out. After a 10 year hiatus, I want to get back into bowhunting. From the reading and research I've done, I decided the Bear Instinct will probably be my first bow. Problem is, I can't find anyone in Alberta who sells it. I would like to purchase locally, if possible, but may have to buy online. So, if anyone could direct me to a good bow shop that sells Bear, that'd be great. Alternately, the new MArtin Bengal is also very nice, for the same price, but not sure when it'll be available. Any advice much appreciated.

I really don't know which pro shop would carry that.

There's also Trophy Book Archery in Spruce Grove & Sherwood Park Archery Lanes in Sherwood Park. Another option is the shop in Red Deer, can't remember the name off the top of my head. If you're in the Lloyd area there was Jodi Lee's.

a Fred Bear Instinct...Nice Bow .... ..... Calgary Archery Centre handles the Bear Line and could order it in ....

the new Martin Bengal ...is just that Brand new ..... Just released by Martin in the last 2 or so weeks .... Looks to be an awesome bow .... Any Martin Dealer would be able to get it as soon as its avialible .... Martin is Building to order so it might be a while yet ....

I happen to be working in Red Deer again today (doing some consulting) and on Gaetz Ave. there are two stores within a block of each other: Backcountry Sports and The Sportsmen's Den.

Grunter, although both of those stores are good sporting goods stores, I prefer dedicated archery shops. There's one on the other side of the street by Telebytes or some other cellular store. I think the stores name is Red Deer Archery.

If you're up near edmonton....Go to Sherwood Archery...I wouldn't recommend going to Trophy Book.

The 2 times I've sent people there, the work was ... well...let's just say less than satisfactory. I live in Stony Plain (10 mins from Trophy Book) and I drive all the way to Sherwood Archery.

I'd avoid Lane Archery like the plauge....If you're in Lethbridge area, Archery Ulimited is the only place you should be going. PERIOD!
