Hello everyone,
I'm thinking about buying a portable ground blind and would like to have your opinions on your results after using one.
what makes do you recomend, and how do those shoot through windows work? will you loose any arrow speed?
I do most of my hunting in the okanagan here in B.C..
Thanx, firestorm

I used an Ameristep Doghouse last season and really liked it. Seemed to be no accuracy probs shooting fixed broadheads through the mesh. Just remember to brush in the blind so it looks a little more natural.

i used one last year a couple of times and never had a chance to shoot out of it, but what i noticed was that the deer would walk by and you could move around and they never saw movement
it only took a couple of minutes to clean a spot and set it up
and it packed away pretty quick also a small whiteftail buck come by and he knew the blind was there, but he walked by anyway and he never would have come near if he had seen any movement.

CDN,
Do you shoot through the mesh or through a hole? Not sure I understood you. I have never used one.

Yep, there is replaceable mesh over the shooting windows. You can shoot right through it with fixed blade broadheads. It does not seem to change arrow flight at all.
