Just wondering if anyone has used anything like the buzz buster by Pearson or anything similar to it. It's a device that attatches to the cable guard rod and protrudes over in front of where the string remains at rest. There is a rubbery type of material that comes in contact with the string after release and stops it's forward momentum and vibe.
I'm trying to make my bow alittle less noisy and lessen vibration.

My Jennings Grandmaster bow has a similar stopping device that came with the bow as an option. I have tried it several times and always end up going back to the swing away cable gaurd that is the standard issue with this model. At lower poundage it seemed to work fine and did all that they claimed it would do, but the minute I turned up the weight (75 lbs)the rubber would not stay in place and I tried everything.

I looked up the buzz buster and it does look like it may be a better design than the jennings model but that is just from looking at a picture. Maybe there's some others who have had experiences with this product and can give you a more product specific answer.
