As a game management tool in the hands of fish and wildlife officers this thing does have some merit. However by no means do I think shooting it should be considered "archery". Its essentialy a dart gun.

I'd like to shoot one just to see what it's like but thats as far as I'd go with it. I hope they don't make them legal to hunt with up here. Some damn fool will try and get them legal I'd bet. They'll probably draw their supporters just like the crossbow does.

Well my 2 cents a true bow hunter wouldn't even consider buying something like that... What's the point???? If they do approve of it's use for hunting I am sure it would fall under the same guidelines of a crossbow... :flipoff:

Anyone whos hunted with a bow knows the hardest part is getting to full draw on an animal that is 15 yrds away.
This stupid thing wouldn't really be a challange at all.

Considering they rate the fastest bows at 260/270 fps I would not take much of what they say as truthfull or knowledgefull.
