We just finished the weekend and it was a huge success. 89 happy people. Thanks to everyone who made it up to shoot and the volunteers who put it together. I will post pics and the results later on.

The Game Country Archers put on an excellent shoot. It was great to see so many junior archers in attendance.

When Monica and I walked in, we were surprised to see so many small targets. We quickly found out that most of those targets were for the FBH, Cub and Traditional classes. We sighed with relief! At most of the shoots we attend there are bales behind the targets, but apparently the club couldn't find any. It really makes you concentrate when you know that a miss means buying a new arrow! Thank heavens for legs on the animals!

The shoot was very well organized and ran smoothly. The only minor problem was that someone shot the light bulb in the shooting light set-up. :teehee: Thinking ahead, the organizers had a replacement on hand and shooting continued.

Doug Carlson won the "Top 10 Shoot-off" by making a great shot on a mountain goat. Congratulations, Doug!!

She is very good. When I was shooting with her, it seemed I was always muttering in a soft voice "holy crap, another 10". :-P
