Hey cursedtick I was wondering if you could give me some history on that pse edge bow? It sounds like the bow I'm shooting, I bought it from a local guide for $200 with a box full of arrows and broad heads, sights, release and soft camo case probably in about 96-97. Its a 1000 c edge series bow with an anniversary sticker on it. Were these good bows back then and did I get a good deal. I thought it was pretty good.? I also have an Oneida phantom thats barely ever been used. I got it for a graduation gift but stuck to the barnett sidewinder I was shooting at the time. I would sell the Oneida but dont have a clue what it would be worth now. It was a little over 500$ in 1992. Anyone still shooting these bows? ya don't here much about them any more.?

AS far as the 1000 c 'i m not sure of that ,the only one I had anything to do with was the Slr 1000 made by PSE.
WAS it a good bow?(30/60)YES it's the only one I ever shot for more than one season.Acutally it was 6 years never had to do any major work to it.Stiil all original.I like the long axel to axel for my self. Two bull elk and a couple of deer fell to it and also a wild boar .The only draw back on it was the 55%let off and the hard cams. With todays new bows it hard not to shoot one with the single cam and or the high let off.It just hangs on the wall now as I bought a pse team priomos a year and a half ago.
It sounds like you got a good deal on your stuff it really depends on what kind of "stuff" it was .AS long as it works for you and it got you shooting then yeah I'd say you did well.I beleive Oneida came out with a new line last year .I 've never had much to do with them,so don't really know if it was good or what it's worth.
