Well, I have decide to order up a new bow ( WIfey says....ANOTHER ONE) and here is what I am getting. 2004 Martin Cougar III Straight Limb with Tru Arc Cams. 300fps 40 1/8 ATA. Going to order a camo riser and with carbon limbs. Its freakin hot! Making the call in the AM.

Lookin' pretty good Trev. Should be a real nice shooter. I understand that their is 5 or 6 companies coming out with Hybrid cam systems this year. I guess most of us are not buying Mathews claims.

Way to go on the new bow!! I think Martin is going to have a good year. Is this going to be a full target rig? I am looking forward to hearing the setup on it.

I have been shooting a little more this week, so if I get back from Baffin Island in time, I am going to shoot the Cochrane shoot next friday night. I plan on shooting the Spitz and the Mother of all Shoots in Red Deer too.

Its ordered up. Had a change of heart and ordered it with camo limbs instead of the carbon. Now the long wait.

Hey archer,
You are gonna love that freakin bow!!!!
That is what I'm shooting, except with the fury-x system.
I'm bias cause I shoot for Martin, but they still make the best bows money can buy.

It has only been a week and a half and I have the shakes. I can't stand all this waiting. Shane, do me a favor and use your weight with Martin and get it built for me will ya! Honestly though, Dennis and Jude from Archery Unlimited are great to deal with. Thanks everyone.

Well, due to a mess up at the Martin Factory and my apelike 31 1/2 in draw length, I cannot get the Cougar I wanted, so they great people at Martin Archery are doing right and getting me a Razor X SE with Tru Arc Hybrid Cams.
A litlle shorter ATA, but a super generous Brace height at 8 3/4 inches! Can't wait. George Ryals (GRIV to all you archerytalkers) promised it will ship right away! Thanks Martin!

That is great that the Martin folks are looking after you that way!! I still think you should have gotten a Hoyt though. I do have to say that I sure would consider a Slayr, if I was looking for a new bow.
