Lots of moose in NFLD for sure! But not all good to have so many, alot of people hurt or killed in moose/vehicle collisions, its quite a problem over there. Good hunting for sure though, to bad you have to go through an outfitter to hunt there.

It is true that there is a lot of moose but most of NF is marsh land .You have to hunt with water sometime up to waist. My brother in law booked a hunt 4 years ago and he said h'll never go there again.

my brother in law lives and hunts in nfld and he drives right to where he hunts and sees lots of moose within 1/2 mile and he says its just rock and clearcuts. maybe he hunts higher ground as he has shown me pictures and it looks like a lot of rock and not a lot of swamp or water.
