I was just wondering if anybody out there has tried this. What calls to use? What to expect?

Haven't tried it yet but I plan on it sometime this winter. I am going to use deer distress calls. I think chances are better of getting a cougar to come if he thinks he will be getting a big meal instead of just a snack of rabbit.

I have called bear but not cougar. Around here you would use a deer or calf elk distress call. With predator calling you cannot target a particular species. Here at this time of year I think I would get wolves more than cats.
