Sorry dudes this was the only I could get my pics on the site!!! But anyway here they are, the mounting was done by a fellow who lives in Bearspaw. I think he's an absolute master at what he does. I've seen some of his stuff that's years old and it still isn't discolored/yellowed. It took him less than 2 weeks to get this back to me. I was so stunned when I saw how beautiful it was that I couldn't get the smile off my face. I brought a non-typical to Yan a couple years back-he bleached the skull for me but couldn't mount it on a plaque because the drop times were in the way. So I've been waiting for something to have done. I brought him a skull last year that I boiled and whitened myself but he was aftaid to try and cut it for fear it might shatter. So finally I've got a piece of his artwork in my home.

By the way this is what a European mount should look like. I have some bleached skulls, they look interesting but they aren't European mounts. Seems lots of people mix up the two nowdays.

Haha I stayed up till midnight last night mounting it on my mantle. The wife was laughing at me .....she thinks it's funny that a guy can be so proud of something. By the way I'm damned glad I took some advice and sheeted the mantle with plywood before gyprock --makes it much easier to hang stuff. I think I'll do my basement like that when I remodel.

If anyone wants Yan's phone # shoot me a pm and give me your phone # I'll call you with it. I'm sure he wouldn't want his number plastered all over the net.
