As most of us are aware Spike TV is no longer carrying hunting and fishing shows. The Outdoor Life Network doesn't carry hunting shows at all. So lets all email our cable provider and ask that they carry The Sportsman's Channell. Here is a link to their site, you can watch on line.

There is a sample letter to mail in on the site.

Lets get after this guys it will be the only way it will happen is if we all ask for it. Here is a copy of what I sent to Shaw
Hi I would like to see "The Sportsmans Channel" added to the channel lineup. This is a 24hr a day fishing, hunting and outdoors channel. Since TNN has changed to SpikeTV they no longer offer this service. OLN does offer some fishing programming but no hunting programming. I would be willing to pay for this as an additional channel to my regular service. I know I am not alone in this. Please add this channel so I am not forced to look to other alternatives. There are many outdoor sportsmen that would enjoy this type of programming.I will attach a link to their site. Thank you

Spike TV pisses me off They don't show hunting anymore cuz they are too busy showing nitting and punk kid car TV and Grand Master Funk but they insist on calling themselves the nework for Men yah rite I don't know one guy who watches Stripperella or the other crap they show... And as for Shaw they won't add anything new for some time.. That is why I will be looking into a satelite system that I can pirate out of the USA... Bell and Shaw can kiss my Butt if I am gonna watch any shows with Hunting in tham I will go too the Direct TV ilegal system... Bitter You damn rite... :flipoff: :cuss: :pissed:

Well I have vented enough for now... Have a good weekend all...

Top Dawg you really should get the direct tv satelite. If ya want hunting shows its the only way to go. Channel 606 which is the outdoor channel has mostly nothing but hunting and fishing 24-7. Still get the odd payed advertisments but its awsome. Careful though it can cause problems if your married cause its kind of addicting. Well better run theres a deer about to get arrowed. :flipoff:

What if instead of us as individual sending letters to these big TV satellites companies which probably end up in a black hole anyway; the Webmasters from all Hunting.fishing/shooting sites write to these guys with an invitation to visit their respective sites?

No doubt that these satellites companies would then see by themselves the interest for hunting/shooting of thousands of people. Just think about it!

Just an idea. Ouch my head hurts!
