Anybody know of anywhere in the Alliance/Castor area for some decent late bowhunting? Would appreciate a name or number to call. I'm heading up there on Tues. to work for about 3 weeks on Jade #9. In my position, I tend to meet a few landowners so if anyone else is in the area let me know.

The river by Alliance should be alright - there's some pretty good stuff to the west of Alliance. Don't hunt it myself - a bit too long of a drive especially @ $1 a litre. If you're in the country Dec 4. The Coronation Archers are having thier Green Scoring day on Dec 4 (Sunday) from 1-4 pm @ the Lions Rec Centre (aka Bowling Alley)

Thanks for the tip Russ. I hope to get out in the next few days. I'm just east of Forestberg and been seeing a few in the evening, all on private land though.

Joey - The best thing to do is treat it all like private land, no matter what the new land use act says. Most of the crown land lease holders own big chunks of private land too & old habit's die hard.
