I noticed you said you moose hunt in Ignace Ont. Have you ever been to Atikokan it's only 1.5 hours away. The people that I guide for at Indiaonta resort live up there during the off season. How was your season (archery) up there this year? We had a blast around here. The rutt happened a little later then normal though. They were still going pretty heavy into the rifle season. :lol:

I appologize for the slow response, My computer is slow bringing this site up and I usually don't have the patience to wait for it.

I have never been to Atikokan myself, but have been hunting up by the silver dollar for the past 8 yrs. My group has had some good success up there which makes the drive well worth it. You're right the Rut did go late this year, very little reaction to the calls We were able to bring home a young cow, and boy is she tasty! This is why we keep going back, Good friends, Good Hunting, and just GOOD FUN
